Validity of the Graduation Exam: FAQs
For how long are the Graduation Exam results valid?
The results of our Graduation Exam are valid for a period of two years. This means that students may take the exam up to four semesters before they graduate from the University.
AS FROM JUNE 2010, YOU MUST PASS BOTH PARTS OF THE EXAM ON THE SAME DAY IN ORDER TO PASS THE GRADUATION EXAM
What happens if I took the Graduation Exam more than 2 years ago, but I haven’t graduated yet?
If your exam result expires before you graduate, you should register to take the exam again, ensuring you have enough time to receive the results before your graduation ceremony.
Do I have to take the written exam and the oral exam at the same time?
Yes. You must always take both the written and the oral parts of the exam on the same day. Should you fail to take one of the parts of the exam, your result will be annulled.
What happens if I passed one part of the exam before?
If you passed one part of the graduation exam in or after January 2008, and you pass the remaining part of the exam before January 2010, then the result remains valid until the first graduation ceremony of 2010.However, your graduation exam as a whole will only be valid for the two years since the date on which the first part was taken (in this case, until the first graduation ceremony of 2010).
Example:
Passed Oral Exam November 2008 + Passed Written Exam January 2010
= Exam Result Valid Until November 2010
Example:
Passed Oral Exam November 2008 + Passed BOTH Written & Oral Exam January 2010
= Exam Result Valid Until January 2012
