Film Appreciation

This course will give students an introduction to elements of film to increase appreciation, perception, and understanding of cross-cultural similarities and difference examined through works of American, European, and Asian directors. The relationship between national temperament and individual creativity will also be analyzed.

History of the cinema from the silent period up to now. In addition, students will be engaged in a practical process of writing, planning and story-boarding.

Objectives
